The grand opening will […] Mesa Top Games & Toys in Los Alamos, New Mexico, has received approval to add food service to the existing cafe. Instead of coffee and sandwiches, the store will serve smoothies, milkshakes, and a limited air-fried food menu. The grand opening will be announced in the next week or so. The summer draft series for Magic the Gathering will begin on Mondays, with limited edition enamel pins and Mystery boosters added to the prize pool. The store has also been approved to host the next set championship for Ursua’s Return in July. The schedule includes costume days and casual play for players.

The grand opening will be announced in the next week or so and we hope you will come! Just in time for summer! A big thank-you to Los Alamos County for the ARPA funds that paid for this expansion, Los Alamos MainStreet for the equipment and for all the resources provided with help from the Chamber of Commerce, and of course to you for your support and investment in our local community.
Speaking of summer, our summer draft series for Magic the Gathering will be starting up again on Mondays. Please see planned schedule below. This year we have limited edition enamel pins and Mystery boosters to add to our prize pool. Check out our planned costume days as well (dress to match the set) – the winner will receive a prize as well (no weapons real or imitation are allowed on the premises, please do your best without). We’re looking forward to a fun summer!
Continuing with TCGs, Lorcana is hotter than ever with Ursula’s Return bringing a new cooperative play style to the table and ever-deepening lore. We’ve had almost 20 reported enchanted cards pulled from our little store including at least 2 Chapter 1 Enchanted Elsas. Congrats to those lucky players!
We have been preapproved to host the next set championship for Ursua’s Return in July. If you plan to play, please let us know if July 20 will work for you. Anyone is welcome to join us Saturdays at 2:00 for casual play and trading.
