North Phoenix Pain Clinic Closes After Hailstorm Damage
A north Phoenix pain clinic is closed indefinitely after hail tore through its roof in just 15 minutes. A north Phoenix pain clinic has shut its doors indefinitely due to severe hailstorm damage, which caused it to damage its roof, flooded the building and damaged medical equipment inside. Sun Pain Management, which is reaching out to affected patients, confirmed the closure of the north Phoenix location until further notice due to significant damage. The initial quote for the roof alone came in at around $300,000, which does not include separate damage to air-conditioning units and other systems inside the building. The damage also included damage to vehicles parked outside the clinic, which had to be towed to repair shops rather than driven in. The storm system hit metro Phoenix, producing golf-ball-sized hail and damaging vehicle windshields across the Valley.
