Mesa County Republican Convention: a long day of voting

State delegates, ordered alternatives, and community members showed up to the Mesa County Republican Convention to make some big decisions. The Mesa County Republican Convention took place at the Palisade High School Auditorium in Grand Junction, Colorado. Delegates from caucuses voted on the Primary Ballot for County Commissioners in Districts 1 and 3, District Attorney, and Colorado House Districts 55 and 54. The next Republican County Convention will be held in Pueblo, Colorado, on April 5th and 6th.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - The Palisade High School Auditorium housed the Mesa County and other District Conventions on Saturday.

Delegates from caucuses will hear from the candidates and vote to designate candidates to the Primary Ballot for County Commissioners in Districts 1 and 3, District Attorney, and Colorado House Districts 55 and 54. The agenda on Saturday included:

- Designate Candidates to the Primary Ballot for County Commissioner Districts 1 and 3

- Ratify Delegates and Alternatives to 3rd Congressional District and State Convention

The next Republican County Convention is on April 5th and 6th in Pueblo, where they will designate candidates for the 3rd Congressional District seats and other state agendas.
