Arizona leaders caught on photo radar skipped paying fines
Nearly half of the recent photo radar tickets that cities mailed to alleged speeders and red-light runners were ignored. Former mayor of Mesa, John Giles, was caught speeding or running red lights five times over the past five years, and other leaders in other Arizona cities also skipped their fines. This is not an isolated incident, with mayors and councilmembers in other cities also failing to pay their fines due to photo enforcement.
