La Mesa Village To Host Halloween Trick-Or-Treating And Pet Costume Contest
The free event invites families to trick-or-treat at participating businesses and includes a pet costume contest. La Mesa Village will host a Halloween Trick-Or-Treating and Pet Costume Contest from 4 to 6 p.m. on La Mesa Boulevard and adjacent streets between Grant Avenue and Acacia Avenue. Families are encouraged to dress up and bring their own bags to collect treats at participating businesses. A Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume contest will also take place at the Fountain Courtyard near the La Mesa Blvd Trolley Station in La Mesa Village Plaza. Categories include Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo and Most Festive Halloween Pet. Winners will be announced after the contest.
