After long wait, Otra Pizzeria and upstairs bar open in historic downtown space
The historic building will welcome a pizzeria on the ground level and a neighborhood bar upstairs. Otra Pizzeria and Better Days, a restaurant and bar from chef Cesar Velasco and the team behind The Churchill in Phoenix’s Warehouse District, will soft-open in the historic Gerardo’�s Building. The pizzeria and second-floor watering hole will debut in the Gerardo's Building on the northeast corner of Third and Buchanan streets. After this weekend, Otra will officially open on Wednesday, and Better days will follow on Friday. While the businesses will operate separately, the teams will serve food and drinks across both floors. The chef will keep Otra's menu similar to what customers have seen at the pop-up pop-ups.
