Mahnah Club in Mesa marks over seven decades of helping others

For over seven decades, members of the Mahnah Club in Mesa have raised money, volunteered their time and helped establish organizations that serve some of the East Valley’s most vulnerable The Mahnah Club in Mesa, Arizona, has been serving in the community for over seven decades, raising money and setting up charitable programs that serve children and families in crisis. The club, which began in 1954, has established three main charities: Child Crisis Arizona, A New Leaf and Corbin's Legacy. Its members believe that children removed from dangerous homes in the East Valley should not have to have to travel to Phoenix for a safe place to stay, which led to the creation of the Child Crisis Center of the East. The event will also recognize the club's longstanding relationship with Child Crisis Arias and raise money for charitable programs serving women, children, and families. The Mahnah club has distributed over $500,000 in scholarships over the past four years. The public anniversary luncheon will be held at Las Sendas Golf Club in Phoenix on Nov. 7.
