Cactus Park Precinct Construction Approved in Phoenix
The Cactus Park Precinct project advances public safety with state-of-the-art facilities in northwest Phoenix, funded by the 2023 GO Bond Program. Phoenix City Council has approved CORE Construction, Inc. as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the new Cactus Park Precinct, a major public safety project funded through the 2023 General Obligation (GO) Bond Program. The project includes construction of a new state-of-the-art main facility, a stand‑alone mechanic shop, firearms training range, fuel facilities, and solar-covered parking. The new precinct will also include a Real Time Operations Center, monitoring public safety technology and real-time data streams to support officers in the field. Funding for the precinct comes from the 20 23 GO Bond Program, which allocated $37.1 million. Once completed, the precinct will provide updated facilities for officers and staff, improve community access, and support long-term policing needs in northwest Phoenix.
